Hampton Fire & Rescue Community Flea Market- Saturday June 6th from 9am-3pm at 189 Halsey Road. Spaces will be available for $20 each & will include a table & chairs. Crafters, hobbyists, vendors or anyone wanting to free up some space at home are welcome! Spaces can be reserved until 6/4 at 4pm, however to be included in "print" advertising reservations must be made by 6/1 @ 10am. To download the application, please click here.
The Miss Hampton & the Prince & Princess Competition will be held on Friday, June 12th at the Municipal Building. The Prince & Princess Competition will start at 6:30pm and the Miss Hampton Competition will begin at 7:30pm. The deadline to enter is June 1st by 4pm. Miss Hampton applications must be picked up in person at the Municipal Building at Leah Korver's office. The Hampton Day Festival & Car Show will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 2015. The Car Show will be hosted by the NJ Mopar Group & will run from 10am-3pm. The Hampton Day Festivities will begin at 12pm until 6pm. The Snake Oil Willie band will be performing and the evening will finish up with Country Line Dancing! Interested in being a vendor? CodeRED Community Alerting System: Sussex County's Division of Emergency Management has the ability to notify all Sussex County residents in the event of an emergency through its CodeRED system. When activated by officials, this automated system calls homes and businesses in the affected area and delivers a recorded message to notify the public about the emergency and what actions they may need to take. Just a reminder, the current contract with Waste Management states that garbage can be picked up as early as 6 a.m. Please have your garbage out by at least 6 a.m. on garbage day only.
